CAM Basic Systems – All Model Ranges at a Glance

The initial step to your new CNC machining system is to choose a basic system which consists of the mechanics and the CNC controller. You can choose from five model ranges.

The first four type series can be equipped with further vhf system modules (machining units, fixing devices, additional accessories and suitable production software). Every type series is available with numerous different positioning ranges and passage heights – so there will always be a system which has the optimum size for your applications. The fifth type series, Impression, was especially developed for applications like jewellery production, dental technology and micro-machining.

We deliver all new systems free domicile within Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Moreover, our staff members will install and assemble your new CAM system and give you an introduction so that you can start using it productively already at the day of delivery. You will also get a parts warranty for two full years on all new systems.

 
 
 
 

The engraving and milling systems of our established Classic line are robust and due to their ball screw spindles free from backlash they are highly precise. The modern controller with real-time operating system ensures real 3-D processing with continuous velocity along the path. You will surely be enthusiastic about the fast processing of your workpieces. Whereas CAM 100 still fits on every laboratory table, CAM 450 already offers a positioning range of more than one square metre. On top of that, there is a possibility to push through even longer workpieces, so that they can be processed, too. The repetition accuracy of ± 0.01 mm meets all requirements concerning a high precision.

The Classic systems are universally applicable for all processing tasks and ideal for small to medium sized workpiece formats.

 
 

We have developed the Premium Line especially for challenging industrial applications. It distinguishes itself particularly by its more stable construction and more powerful drive units. This means for you high rates of feed and high-quality cutting edges even on materials which are rather difficult to machine. You can also work on the front ends of very high workpieces (e. g. housings) in an optional front clamping range. The Premium line offers the greatest variety of sizes and equipment components.

These systems show their strengths especially in the industrial machining of wood, plastics and metals, in three-dimensional mould making or rapid prototyping. To put it more generally: it does not matter what you want to make out of which material – using a Premium system you will achieve top results!

 
 
 
 

The Active Pro line offers you machines with a positioning range of up to 3 x 8 metres, a special design may even be bigger. So there is practically no plate format left which cannot be processed within one working cycle. You don’t have to be annoyed any more with fixing your workpieces more often than necessary. A special vacuum table which is integrated into the machine table ensures a highly comfortable and quick exchanging of your workpieces. Due to its controller which can be upgraded to up to five axes, the CAM system is already prepared for the use of a tangential cutting head, with which you can cut soft and porous materials without burrs.

An Active Pro system is ideal for sign making and all other fields of application where a large working area is essential, like for instance in aluminium and plastics processing.

 
 
 
 

The Active Mold line is especially suitable for three-dimensionally milling large blocks. Due to an especially stable framework construction of high-tensile aluminium profiles with numerous crossbars and many stand supports, the load will be evenly spread. Thus you can load very heavy workpieces onto the Active Mold systems. The open construction of the system and the little height of the workpiece support make it easy to exchange workpieces.

These systems are ideal for rapid prototyping and mould making where all kinds of voluminous objects of styrofoam, plastics, model making materials, wood or aluminium have to be produced. Your possibilities are manifold: in the design phase of a product you can make functional or illustrative models, for the serial production you can produce casting moulds or finally individually designed parts.

 
Impression

The compact table systems of the Impression line are equipped with an integrated Harmonic-Drive rotary axis. Thus they are perfectly suitable for all kinds of applications where smaller workpieces have to be machined by four axes simultaneously. The fields of application of these systems are mainly in the sectors of jewellery production, micro-machining and dental technology. For this we offer a wide range of clamping devices to safely fix your workpieces.
