Gravers

Top angle from 15° on for constant engraving width

Descriptions

Gravers are conic tools (halved carbide rod) with one cutting edge. The deeper you dip into your workpiece, the broader becomes the engraving. The relationship between dipping depth and engraving width is determined by the top angle of the tool. A smaller top angle enables a more constant engraving width, even if the surface is not absolutely plane. We recommend our special 15° gravers for spindles without workpiece levelling. On request, we can also produce special designs. Instead of the shown conical flattened gravers, there are also cylindrical rounded gravers available. Additionally, we offer a regrinding service at a price of 6.– € per tool.
