Description
This PCB profile cutter is suitable for machining very hard kinds of materials. There are two different types available: a diamond-toothed version (with a special kind of carbide cutting edge which resembles the structure of diamonds) and a spiral-toothed version. Both types have a fishtail grinding at their tip.
The spiral-toothed version enables a better chip-clearance. This is especially advantageous when you process materials with a high proportion of glass or carbon fibre and when you process wood. At the same time the improved chip clearance leads to smoother surfaces. On the other hand, the diamond-toothed tool has an even better endurance. On request, all tool diameters are also available with a 1/8 inch shank.
Fields of Application
Milling outline contours of PCBs (epoxy resin) and other glass fibre reinforced plastics.
Special Features
High rates of feed are possible and the tool has a great endurance.
Stop Ring
All cutters are equipped with a stop ring (purple), distance from tool tip to back of ring: 21 mm; on request also available without stop ring.
