Suitable Machine Lines
By using special cutting units, you can considerably extend the range of applications of your CNC machining system. Depending on the material which has to be processed and the accuracy which is necessary, there are different possibilities.
The drag knife unit is a good-value solution for cutting film. During the cutting process, the knife turns immediately into the right direction due to its very good bearing. Possible inequalities of the material will be levelled by the spring-mounted knife. This unit shows its strengths especially in combined milling, engraving and cutting works, as they come up often in sign making tasks (for instance when engraved plates should get coloured logos).
The tangential cutting unit is more precise than the drag knife unit because the knife is being adjusted automatically into the cutting direction. You should choose this unit if you have to cut thinner materials (film etc.) with high accuracy.
