Single Tooth Cutters Varius®

Description

With our own brand Varius® we have developed a series of milling cutters with one to four cutting edges. They distinguish themselves by a universal applicability and a long endurance. The single tooth cutter presented here is made of finest grain carbide; it has a 30 degree spiral flute.

Coating

Most of the shank diameters from 3 to 10 mm are available with a super-hard carbon coating (SHC). This diamond-like special coating distinguishes itself by a minimum friction value and extreme hardness. So the milling cutters get a great dry running performance and do not tend to clog too easily. Their already long endurance will be prolonged considerably.

Fields of Application

This universal single tooth cutter is suitable for milling aluminium (also aluminium composite plates), copper, zinc, brass, cast acrylic and plastics which do not tend to smear. Tools with SHC coating are especially suitable for machining (composite) materials with a considerable part of glue respectively resin (e. g. medium density fibreboards, multiplex plywood panels, chipboards) or thermosetting plastics (Bakelite®, Pertinax, HPL, ...).
