Descriptions

Gravers are conic tools (halved carbide rod) with one cutting edge. The deeper the graver dips into your workpiece, the broader becomes the engraving. The relationship between dipping depth and engraving width is determined by the top angle of the tool. A smaller top angle enables a more constant engraving width, even if the surface is not absolutely plane. We recommend our special 15 degree gravers for spindles without workpiece levelling. On request, we can also produce special designs. Additionally, we offer a regrinding service at a price of 8.– € per tool (our usual scales of discount are effective).

Fields of Application

Optimal for plastics, non-ferrous metals and wood.

Stop Ring

3 mm gravers are equipped with a stop ring (white), distance from tool tip to back of ring: 21 mm.
