Description

Analogue to the diamond-toothed cutter, this tool is suitable for machining highly abrasive materials. This cutter has a fishtail grinding at its tip and is also available with a 1/8 inch shank, on request.

Fields of Application

Machining materials with a high proportion of glass or carbon fibre (e.g. printed circuit boards) and wood. This spiral-toothed tool enables a very good chip clearance, which leads to smoother surfaces. In addition, these tools are available with an extra-hard diamond coating, which provides a considerably longer endurance. Please note that due to their lacking electric conductivity, diamond-coated tools are not suitable for measurement with the automatic z adjustment.

Stop Ring

All cutters are equipped with a stop ring (purple), distance from tool tip to back of ring: 21 mm; on request also available without stop ring.
