Thread Whirling Cutters

Description

This tool has two rows of teeth and is suitable for especially tiny threads from M 1 on. The threads will be machined down to the bottom of the pre-drilled (tapped blind) hole. The threads can be very deep thanks to the long free grinding. The number of teeth depends on the thread size: 3 teeth for M 1 to M 4, 4 teeth for M 5 to M 6 and 6 teeth for M 8 to M 10.

Fields of Application

The thread whirling tool can be universally used for plastics, non-ferrous metals, composites and steel. For machining steel we recommend the variant with TiAlN coating.
