Christmas season is the time for presents – up to now this slogan also applied to the vhf camfacture AG. In 2011, however, vhf refrains for the first time from sending presents to their business partners at the end of the year, in order to make a donation to a charitable organization.

The goldsmith Roland Auer from Vösendorf in Austria shows in a technical training for the German trade magazine “Goldschmiede Zeitung” how to create an elaborately designed necklace of red gold, nacre and Paraiba tourmalines. The four-axis micro-machining system CAM 4-02 Impression by vhf is used for milling the wax models of the gold parts, a clasp of hardened gold sheet and the nacre elements.

The machine builder vhf camfacture AG from Ammerbuch near Stuttgart issued two new catalogues in spring 2011. Analogue to the previous issues the focus is on CNC milling systems and the corresponding accessories as well as on carbide and diamond tools.

vhf camfacture AG presents two new micro-machining systems of the Impression line which distinguish themselves by very compact dimensions: CAM 4-K1 and CAM 4-K2. Both systems have been developed especially for the requirements of the dental technology so that crown and bridge frameworks with up to fourteen units as well as inlays, onlays, abutments and veneers can be milled comfortably and precisely.

After the Medtec trade fair for medical technology, vhf has another premiere in 2010: Fespa, the world trade fair for digital printing, screen printing and textile printing. It takes place from June 22 to June 26 in Munich. Under the headline “Print & Cut” vhf will present different kinds of solutions for accurately milling and cutting printed boards of all common materials.

vhf has been offering their radius cutters with extra long free grinding for not more than approximately one year, and they have already generated an enormous demand. Thus vhf now offers these tools not only with three different grindings for several kinds of materials, but also with coatings which are adapted to each material. Furthermore, some tools are now also available in a more stable version with shortened cutting edge.

As vhf’s production and presentation space of the CNC machining systems had been very constricted after a sharp growth rate during the past few years, the ground-breaking ceremony for a spacious new company building took place in June 2009. In March 2010 the roof construction has been finished and vhf celebrated the roofing ceremony. Significant improvements, especially in the visitor’s area, become clearly visible already when one glances into the shell of the building.

vhf camfacture AG has thoroughly reworked and expanded their range of single tooth cutters. Although some rarely requested intermediate sizes had been phased-out, the choice of meanwhile 120 different single tooth cutters represents an increase of about 30 percent compared to the current catalogue 2008/2009.

vhf camfacture AG offers a new special tool for bending aluminium composite plates which are quite commonly used in the fields of sign making, exhibition and store construction. These plates are also known under their brand names Alucobond® or Dibond®.
