The mechanical engineering company vhf has established a very successful partnership for the sale of its CNC machining systems in Russia and the member states of the CIS with the company Baltexim from Magdeburg since 2006. Now a demonstration and training centre which is exclusively equipped with vhf machines was opened in co-operation with the faculty for mechanical engineering of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

These new models distinguish themselves especially by high rotational speeds which are uncommon for this kind of spindle type. They enable an efficient production at high rates of feed.

The new line laser module for CNC machining systems by vhf supports a quick and exact alignment of workpieces with the help of laser beams. This will be enabled by two thin red lines which will be projected in a right angle onto the machine table. So a mechanical stopper – which can possibly interfere during the machining process – won’t be necessary any longer.

The milling machine manufacturer vhf has always been offering a very economical cooling and spraying unit for cooling the tools. Now, however, a new electronically controlled minimum quantity lubrication reduces the required amount of lubricants to a few millilitres per hour. This lowers not only costs and workplace exposure, but improves the quality of the treated workpieces at the same time.

At the viscom trade fair in Frankfurt, the company vhf from Ammerbuch near Stuttgart presents its large-scale CNC machining system CAM 2030 Active Pro. Two new system modules are introduced on this system.

For controlling their CNC machining systems, vhf offers a new computer system with touchscreen (“Touch PC”) in a robust and very compact industrial housing. Its high-contrast TFT touchscreen ensures an easy operability, so no separate keyboard or mouse is necessary. The system is protected from chips and can even be used under rough ambient conditions.
