Apparently one has met the demands of the market already with the regular version of the Active line: there is a very high demand and meanwhile approximately every second system which leaves the company belongs to this series. Factors which are decisive here are a large working area and certainly also an affordable price. Due to their size they match optimally the standard plate formats which are used for wood, plastics and metal working. An integrated vacuum table holds the workpieces tight and allows the user to exchange them quickly.

Since autumn 2005, the Active series has also been available in a more stable “Pro” version. This can be classified between the established Active line and the more stable Premium line which has been developed especially for challenging industrial applications. The drive units have become more powerful and precise due to high-revving motor drive units with gearing. This enables the user to produce more quickly and with a further improved quality of the cutting edges at the same time. Double sliding carriages, an additional linear guide and a strengthened bridge construction have led to an increased rigidity of the whole CAM system. This leads to a vibration-reduced operation which contributes to improved engraving and milling results, too.

A summary of these improvements may be that the enhanced chip-removal capacity of the Active Pro, which goes along with an improved quality of the workpieces, leads to an increased productivity.
