In October 2004, vhf will present a new series of engraving and milling systems. The new Active systems distinguish themselves not only by a considerably enlarged working area of up to 2 x 4 m, but also by a particularly favorable price. Due to the extended range of machine sizes, they are well suitable for the standard plate formats used by sign makers or for plastics, wood and metal working.
Starting with a positioning range of 1,050 x 1,050 mm up to 2,050 x 4,050 mm, the Active systems can be delivered in five standard sizes. Even larger special designs can be produced on request. An intelligent construction using standardized panel profiles of high-tensile aluminium made it possible to lower the production costs. This price advantage will be passed on to the customers.
Regarding the configuration of the machine, the user is flexible. The modular construction allows for instance to integrate a vacuum table for chip removing works into the CAM system, but also to equip it with a plasma-cut fixture and an appropriate water container for metal works. The five-axis CNC controller is already prepared for a simultaneous use of a tangential cutting head. So it becomes possible to cut for instance textiles, leather, veneer or fabrics into any shape.
vhf starts the marketing of this new machine series with a special offer. For 29,900 Euro excl. taxes, a complete system CAM 2030 Active is being offered. It has a vacuum table of 2 x 3 m and includes a rotary current spindle with up to 30,000 RPM, a dust extraction unit and a cooling/spraying unit. Also included is the CAM production software as well as delivery and installation of the system within the EU and Switzerland.
