The axes of the CAM system will be controlled by a dynamic adjusting knob – a so-called incremental encoder. A faster rotation of the knob leads to a faster movement of the axes. This enables fast positioning speeds and an accurate fine adjustment. On top of that, the usage of the Control Panel leads to a further increased industrial safety, as it is provided with an emergency stop and a pause button. In its splash-proof metal housing, it may be mounted anywhere at the front or side of the engraving and milling system, and it can also be used as mobile unit. So the operator gets a good view on tool and workpiece when approaching the start positions.

The Control Panel is especially suitable for the application with 3-D software or when data files which were generated earlier have to be processed without a production software. In this case, the Control Panel often makes the purchase of expensive output programs dispensable. All in all, the Control Panel is a good-value alternative to the already existing Manual Control Unit with alphanumeric keyboard and LC display. This makes it interesting for all users of vhf CAM systems. It can be connected to the CNC controllers CNC 550, CNC 800 and CNC 950.
