PR 2008-07 of 12.11.2008
The vhf booth was well attended at all times during the sign making trade fair viscom, which took place from 30. October to 1. November in Frankfurt, Germany. Up to eight employees conducted simultaneously counselling interviews with potential buyers and explained the features of the presented systems.
A keyword mentioned very often at this year's viscom was "Print and Cut". The interested sign makers wanted workpieces to be exactly milled or cut after being imprinted by large format printers. Thus one of the presented vhf systems, equipped with a camera for automatic recognition of register marks, attracted especially wide interest. Due to a very robust construction this system can be used for cutting tasks as well as for powerful milling tasks. The cutting unit can easily be replaced with the appropriate milling spindle.
This also met the interests of the professional visitors; the majority welcomed that just one system is necessary to cut, engrave and mill all kinds of materials which are used in the sign making sector. So a very intense follow-up business is expected by vhf despite economic slowdowns.
