vhf Customer Magazine:
Always up-to-date with “CAM facts”

In June 2009, the machine building company vhf camfacture AG has published the first issue of their customer magazine “CAM facts”. This magazine will inform about new products and the development of the company as well as about interesting applications of the CNC machining systems.

The contents of the magazine is divided into three sections. It starts with company news in general, for instance regarding new services or partnerships. This is followed by descriptions of new modules or improved features of the CNC machining systems and the manufacturing software. In the last section, all developments around the vhf tools are extensively mentioned. So the reader is always kept up-to-date, also outside the regular catalogue publishing cycle of two years. In future, another emphasis of the “CAM facts” shall be put on practical experience reports. They can cover special-purpose CAM systems which have been designed for a specific task. Such reports can also cover the use of regular systems within an interesting production surrounding or for special applications.

The first issue of “CAM facts” has 16 pages and a print run of 15,000 copies in German. In addition to many other topics, it covers three special highlights: With Cenon CCD, there is now an optical workpiece measurement available which is especially interesting for sign making and many industrial applications. On top of that, two new machine series are presented – the Active Mold systems for large-scale mould making and the four-axis micro machining system CAM 4-02 Impression for dental technology, jewellery production and micro-machining. An English PDF version of “CAM facts” is ready for download at the vhf web site.
