vhf camfacture AG has further extended their scope of carbide lances for the use in oscillating tangential cutting heads. From now on, there are also much more narrow variants with just one cutting edge available.
The front part of the tip of the tool is still sharpened from two sides to ensure that the tool can easily dip into the material. However, there is only one cutting edge manufactured over the whole length of the free grinding of the tool. So it becomes possible to make the whole cutting edge more narrow. This measure improves not only the quality of the vertical edges of the cut curves. On top of that the user can cut considerably narrower curve radii than it was possible before.
These single-cutting carbide lances always have a shank diameter of 6 millimetres and are available with four different cutting edge lengths from 5 to 20 millimetres. In order to insert them quickly and only in cutting direction into the tangential cutting head, their shank is equipped with a Weldon clamping surface.
