vhf camfacture AG offers a new special tool for bending aluminium composite plates which are quite commonly used in the fields of sign making, exhibition and store construction. These plates are also known under their brand names Alucobond® or Dibond®.
With these V-slot cutters one can bend aluminium composite plates with a thickness of 3 to 6 millimetres. The material will be milled except for the bottom aluminium layer. Afterwards, it can be bend easily by hand to realize many three-dimensional forms.
This tool consists of a massive steel corpus with an inserted double-toothed carbide plate. The top angle is 90 or 135 degrees. The tool with 90 degrees top angle produces rectangular bendings with a bottom width of 3 millimetres, the tool with 135 degrees acute-angled bendings of 45 degrees with a bottom width of 2 millimetres. This tool has a shank diameter of 6 or 8 millimetres.
