PR 2010-01 of 29.03.2010
As vhf’s production and presentation space of the CNC machining systems had been very constricted after a sharp growth rate during the past few years, the ground-breaking ceremony for a spacious new company building took place in June 2009. In March 2010 the roof construction has been finished and vhf celebrated the roofing ceremony. Significant improvements, especially in the visitor’s area, become clearly visible already when one glances into the shell of the building.
Accessing the ground floor, one can overlook the whole area of approximately 600 square metres, which will be completely accessible to visitors, still without dividing walls. Here the machine exhibition and a production site will be established. The exhibition will not only attractively present the different model ranges of CNC machining systems and tools – they will also be used for producing sample workpieces. Each system will be ready-for-use in order to produce individual samples under practical conditions together with the visitor. Adjacent to the machine exhibition comes the “transparent factory” which will offer a direct insight into vhf’s daily production routine. This is the part of the production accessible to visitors where all milling parts for the construction of vhf machines are being produced directly on vhf machines.
On top of that, the new company building will have more conference and training rooms which are located on two storeys. The completion of the building is expected for October 2010.
More information concerning the building project and the company vhf can be found in PR 2009-05 of June 17, 2009.

Meanwhile the construction of the arched roof solidly rests on the shell of the building, great parts of the curtain wall have already been mounted, too. |
